Why I Built Gigged
Growing up in New Zealand's music scene, I saw firsthand how hard it was for talented musicians and DJs to get discovered and how stressful it was for people trying to organise events to find the right talent.
Musicians were relying on word-of-mouth, expensive managers, or scattershot social media posts. Event hosts were spending hours searching through Instagram and Facebook groups, never sure if they'd found the right person or the right equipment.
There had to be a better way. A single place where New Zealand's best talent could be found, reviewed, and booked without the middlemen, without the friction.
That's why I built Gigged.
